Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) was established in 1980 to promote the game of cricket in the Eastern Province (Saudi Arabia). The sole objective of the association is to promote and popularize the game of cricket in the region by providing maximum support to local cricketers and enhancing the standards of the game at domestic level.
It is an affiliate association of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) which is the only legal and indigenous entity registered with General Presidency of Youth Welfare to control the game of cricket in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SCC is officially affiliated with Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Number of EPCA registered clubs participating in the tournament(s) shall be as decided by Executive Committee.
For the season 2011 – 2012 the EPCA will consist of Thirty (30) registered clubs. There will be Two Divisions namely Premier Division and First Division. Out of Thirty (30) registered clubs, Eight (08) will play in Premier Division and the rest Twenty Two (22) will play in the first division.
